Didn’t work for me

OSX 10.11.5, Disk Drill Media Recovery version 2.5.432. I emptied trash by mistake and needed to recover the trashed files from an SD card that was connected to my iMac at the time. [Nothing was written to the SD card after the trash was emptied]. Purchased this based on the description. Followed the instructions — went through the steps several times on different days — so I don’t think I missed anything. Can’t find anything helpful on their website knowledge base pages. The only file it “recovered" was the file containing my custom icon for the SD card (which, of course, was never in the trash that was emptied).
I want my money back.
